Tips on planning my mom the best party ever!?

So this feb my mom is turning 50, i know its really early to start planning but i just decided to start. We live in NH and it is snowy that month so yeah. She loves those "Omm Pa Pa bands" that they have a october fest in germany. But if would be great if i could have some kick *** ideas for her party! :) thanks
