Is it possible to have a different DCF worker igned to my case?

My childs hospital social worker called DCFS because she had missed several appointments due to my own health problems and the fact that I don't drive and rely on public transportation which..in my area isnt very reliable. My problem is, the DCF worker igned to us has been known to be extremely condescending, laughing at my questions or answering them in a very patronizing tone as though I were 5. I have a feeling it might be because I am handicapped so she thinks she has to talk down to me. Is there any way I can request a new worker or am I stuck with her until the case is closed? And if I do change workers will that just drag my case out longer?
