Does the brand of the amp matter?

I have 3 10" Alpine Type R Subs and I am looking for an amp. I am looking at kenwood, mtx and most likely blitz. They are mono 1500 watts rms @ 1 ohm stable. They are also all CEA Compliant and so they are of good quality and enough power, but does the brand matter? Will I get worse results with an amp thats not the same brand as my subs?
